The brand is great — we make it work like new again.
All current and discontinued Pella sliders.
Pella patio doors run premium — the wood-clad Architect and Reserve series are gorgeous when new, but the wood interior surface starts to discolor and the rollers wear like any other door. The Lifestyle and 250/350/450 vinyl series are the most common in Central Florida and they have a known issue with the locking handle becoming sticky after 5+ years.
What we fix on Pella doors: roller assemblies (Pella uses proprietary cassettes; we have universal-fit replacements), the multi-point lock cylinder, exterior pulls, weatherstrip swap, and alignment.
The four issues we see most.
Sticky Lifestyle handle
The most common Pella complaint. The handle turns hard. Usually the lock cylinder needs lubricating or the multi-point linkage is misaligned. From $129.
Architect Series roller wear
Wood-clad Architects have heavier doors and original rollers can’t take 12+ years of weight. We upgrade to heavy-duty stainless cassettes. From $350.
Vinyl 250/350 alignment
Vinyl frames flex more than aluminum. After hot summers the alignment shifts. Adjust the rollers and the door is square again. From $179.
Full door restoration
Worn rollers, a gritty track, and a loose handle all at once? We do the complete tune-up — rollers, track, lock, and alignment in one visit. From $349.
Repair almost always wins.
A new Pella slider runs $3,500–$6,500 installed. A roller-and-tune-up on your existing Pella door runs $179–$549. The frame and glass on Pella sliders are usually good for 25–30 years — what fails are the wear parts. Replacement is for actual frame damage or shattered glass, not for wear-and-tear. We will tell you straight if your case is the rare 1-in-10 that needs replacement.
Do you really stock Pella-compatible parts?
Yes — we carry universal-fit aftermarket parts (Strybuc, Pemko, Slide-Co, Ives) that fit Pella doors. Same-day install instead of 2–3 week factory wait.
Will the repair void my Pella warranty?
Pella warranty terms vary. Wear parts (rollers, weatherstrip, alignment) are typically not under warranty after a few years anyway. We document everything so you have records if you ever need to make a claim.
