When repair is the right call (90% of doors)

When replacement is the right call (~10% of doors)
- Glass is broken or shattered. Broken glass is a separate job from the rollers and track — tell us when you call and we'll walk you through the options. Sometimes a whole new door does make sense.
- Sealed-pane glass is fogged. Moisture got between the panes; the seal is gone. The glass unit itself needs replacement.
- Frame is structurally warped. Foundation settling has bent the frame so the door no longer sits square. No repair fixes the underlying geometry.
- Hurricane damage. Track ripped from frame, frame cracked, glass shattered.
- Pre-1970 door with no parts available. Genuinely rare. We carry vintage-compatible parts for almost everything.
What you may hear about replacement
Companies that sell new doors naturally lead with replacement. Common claims:
- "Your door is too old to fix" — false. Older doors are usually easier to fix because parts are well-known.
- "Replacement parts aren't available" — false 99% of the time. Aftermarket rollers, tracks, and locks fit every common brand.
