JELD-WEN Sliding Door Repair
Speedy repairs JELD-WEN sliding patio doors across Central Florida. When one starts to drag, scrape or won’t lock, the cause is almost always a worn part — the rollers, the track or the lock — not the door itself. We come to you, find the worn part and put a free estimate in your hands before any work.
Please note: Speedy is an independent repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or a dealer for JELD-WEN.

How to tell what brand your door is.
Many sliding doors carry a manufacturer’s label on the edge of the frame or the panel, visible when the door is open. The small mark etched in a corner of the glass usually identifies the glass, not always the door maker. Can’t find a label? That’s fine — we identify the rollers and lock by their shape and size, so you don’t need to know the brand to book a repair.
The parts that fail — in the order we see them.
Our Central Florida Sliding Door Failure Report covers every brand we service, not just JELD-WEN, and the pattern is the same: the moving parts wear out long before the glass or frame.
Rollers (77%)
The door gets heavy, grinds or scrapes the bottom. Worn rollers are swapped for sealed-bearing replacements. Roller replacement →
Track (26%)
A grooved, bent or corroded track makes the door bump and jump. It gets repaired or capped in stainless. Track repair →
Lock or handle (17%)
The latch misses, the handle is loose or the lock is stiff. Usually an alignment or a worn lock part. Lock repair →
Glass or frame (2%)
Rarely the problem. If something structural is wrong, we’ll tell you straight before you spend a dollar on repairs.
Shares are from the homes in our report that described the problem; a door can have more than one, so they overlap.
Compatible parts, honest answers.
We carry rollers compatible with JELD-WEN doors, and most track and lock repairs use standard parts. If your door needs something specific that we have to order, we tell you up front — before any work starts. If your door is still under its original manufacturer’s warranty, check those terms first; they’re the manufacturer’s, not ours. Every Speedy repair carries a 1-year warranty on parts.
Are you a JELD-WEN dealer or authorized service company?
No. Speedy is an independent repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or a dealer for JELD-WEN. We repair the wear parts on JELD-WEN sliding doors the same way we do on any slider.
Can you get parts for a JELD-WEN sliding door?
Usually, yes. We carry rollers compatible with JELD-WEN doors, and most track and lock repairs use standard parts. If your door needs a part we have to order, we tell you before any work starts.
Will a repair affect my JELD-WEN warranty?
Warranty terms are set by the manufacturer, so if your door is still under its original warranty, check those terms first. Out of warranty, an independent repair keeps the door you have. Our repairs carry a 1-year warranty on parts.
What usually goes wrong on a JELD-WEN slider?
The same parts that wear on any sliding door: the rollers first, then the track and the lock or handle. The glass and frame are rarely the problem.
