Standard-grade rollers will fail again in months. We use heavy-duty stainless tandems rated for the actual door weight. They cost more than a non-impact roller swap, but last 2x longer.

If your PGT door is within 5 miles of the ocean, you need marine-grade stainless track caps and corrosion-resistant rollers. Standard aluminum or chrome rollers will pit within 18 months on coastal homes. The marine-grade upgrade adds a little to the job — but saves a repeat call.
